I'm not getting the open quarters on the F355. Is this just shown as a work in progress? Reminds me of KITT super pursuit mode.
When the 355 is fully revealed you'll get to see all of the different angles and the thought behind the process.
If anything, maybe it will spark interest from a newer generation in the 355. I'm curious where is the money in this?
Button really did it for himself more than the money and investment. If this does spark interest from the newer generations than it could mean an increase in value for the 355.
I would not say this was part of there plan on fchat. The 355 section would not have even known about it had it not been stumbled upon and posted. Got to say I am surprised that this project was not brought to light on fchat weeks ago being that there were allegedly a few members who knew about it.
might have to try and get a set of those fenders for my 348, the rear fender opening would match up well with the 348 door vent. All and all I would of done some things different, but its pretty bad ass
I was contemplating putting the build on F-Chat when it was first discussed but didn't know which route the conversation would have went. Considering this I decided to hold off the posted anything about Button's build before it was complete.
Looks in today's style. I if anyone would not mock it, my signature says it all As to the builder, yes I wasted uber dollars on stupid sheet like this over the last 40 + years and will in the future never regret live life. Never grow up, it's a trick
My son kept sending me the videos of this once they acquired it since it was a yellow one like mine. I told him it's a disgrace of an art piece, but then again the newer generation doesnt seem to care about collecting things like a time capsule. The recent generations have lived in what became more of a disposable culture. No longer do we keep things how they were. We either modify or throw them away lol.
Understood. So those young'uns who choose to throw away their F355s can get in touch with me. I'll take them off their hands.
Right. There will be fewer unmolested F355s around. The ol' Law of Supply and Demand will come into play.
True, the more 355s crashed/destroyed/molested the less there will be on the road. Would really like to know how many are left, unfortunately we may never know.
I appreciate all the hard work and skill that goes into this. That said, my first impressions are pretty negative simply because the styling used doesn't go with the style of the car at all.
Do those rear wheels in the not so clear pic look like a stanced thing with wider rims than the tire wants, sort of low riderish? Perhaps its just the picture of course. But if not all the effort of a wide body and not tucking wheels under like a race car for the street seems odd. ehh maybe I'm odd. Thats some chassis rake definitely not going for GT car look. Either way it's cool love to see hi res pics! Sent using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I think they made so many we would need to wait 30 more years before they're reduced to a number it's hard to find them and they're priced high simply out of rarity. If you're looking for a good unmolested it's a different story I think we're already there I can't find the exact specs I want without paying up.
