    Offered for the first time in thirteen years, SN 09857 will make a great driver as is or an excellent canvas to return to its original Nocciola color. The car has a fascinating ownership history, having been sold new by Chinetti Motors to Dieter Holterbosch, who was known as the “Lowenbrau Munich” beer king. It was also owned for nearly ten years by Anthony Wang of Computer Associates, whose collection included 2 250 GTO’s, a 250 P, 330 LMB, 250 SWB & Cal Spyder, and many others. The accompanying Massini letter documents this history and shows an original US market car delivered with factory A/C, power windows, and Borrani wheels, including the spare.

    Currently showing a believed to be correct 39,253 miles, the owner has stored and maintained SN 09857 at Automotive International here in Charlotte since his purchase in 2006. In addition to routine maintenance, within the last 2,000 miles our shop has completed the following;

    - A full top and bottom engine rebuild necessitated by a failed rod bearing
    - Rebuilt front brake calipers and new brake lines
    - Rebuilt mechanical fuel pump
    - Four new Michelin XWX’s in 205/70 VR14

    Cosmetically, the car enjoyed an older restoration which has held up very well. At that time the seats were recovered and today they exhibit a nice patina with no rips, tears, or loose stitching present. The headliner and sun visors are in excellent condition, as well as both door cards and pull handles. The steering wheel has recently been refurbished and the wood dash is very good with no cracked or peeling veneer. The center console is in excellent condition and still houses the original radio and original A/C vents, including the center knobs for controlling the A/C function.

    The car has no rust and has a solid, straight body with good panel gaps. The color change was done many years ago and still exhibits a good shine from a distance, but up close the ubiquitous “spyder webbing” is present in numerous locations. The chrome and brightwork are very presentable throughout, as well as the lights and glass.

    Included in the sale are an original owners and parts manual, a 1967 dealer directory, and an original 330 GTC sales brochure stamped from Chinetti Motors. The car does not have its original tool kit or jack. Given the overall condition and history of the car, we feel the car is very aggressively priced at 549k OBO.
