To paint such a model is not so difficult, but to build it back together again is not so easy. Yes, the 250 TRI 61 is a factory-build 1:12 from MG. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I believe, the 1:12 factory-build models were so much better then the 1:18 models. But they were very expensive...........! This model I bought second-hand in a very poor condition, paint was dirty and sticky and 3 of the 4 wheels were broken off. So I had to restorate the model. And I have still a MG 1:12 kit of a 375MM Berlinetta LM '53. Need some more time to build.
With a new set of wheels from BBR, your 330 GTC from CMR looks so much better. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
uau, that 375 must be amazing, i love the lm version, although i prefer the panamericana front...but both models look fantastic...

Thank you Pedro, this one is so beautifull. I have this model also from MG Modelplus, but the BBR is so much better. So the MG Modelplus model is for sale!

Not judging you but why remove the decals from #0844 Ferrari 330P3? Those were limited editions and sold out quickly.
Looks great John. I'm expecting and looking forward to delivery tomorrow of the 250 PF Spyder in both colors (Blue & Red).
You will not to be disappointed when you receive these models, Marshall. The only things what I don't like, are the black backgrounds behind the wire-wheels. They have done that at the other models too, so they don't need to make decent brakes, but for the rest Matrix makes very beautiful models for a nice price. Technomodels should shame themselves for making such mess for the same price.
Thanks John, all good to know. Yes, I have to say that although I am not a big fan of Matrix (business reasons) I am fairly happy with the few models of theirs I have bought, and yes, they deliver very good models for the price. And.... and I completely agree with the comparison to Tecnomodel who continue to get away with high crimes in model making!!

TECNOMODEL 1:18 FERRARI 250 GTO '64 Image Unavailable, Please Login I started with the model above and changed a few things. Wirewheels are from BBR, but rebuild (wider) with tires from Kyosho 250 GTO. Exhaust to the backside, wiper from Tremonia and paint the panellines. And of course I removed the racenumbers as always. Nice job, one of the things that i dislike about mine are the spinners..too big, but i like the wheels
