I doubt they’d name a ‘standard’ production car Le Mans, wouldn’t they save it for a limited series or Icona model

Heard a rumor that this could be a V6 hybrid so they would have a hybrid in the sports car series and one in the GT... Really hope it’s not true. Ideally it would be NA but I’ll settle for a TT V8 if it forgoes the hybrid addition.

Seems to be reduced dimensions like a 550. Nice, if so.

It looks to me like a Portofino with an 812 back slope and F8 Tributo or SF90 Stradale lights.

Would love it if it had design cues from the Monza but I’d doubt Ferrari would water down the Icona design to their ‘mass’ production vehicles. One can still hope though.

quite right! I had not considered the positioning of the car. Maybe it's more likely that they've opted for something simpler or less expensive ..

Although, especially at the rear it seems to me that we can summarize everything with a line, or alas with the cylinders cut out of the sf90

Wow, rear horizontal lights are awesome! I hope they could be like Monza.
Concerning the name, isn't it curious that Ferrari had never used the name "Drake"? It was the nickname of Enzo Ferrari. I will use it for the next LaFerrari (horrible name)

This thing is gonna be sexy if it has monza style rear lights, which I fully expect. Looking more and more like an Aston Martin vantage with a Ferrari twist. I couldn’t be more excited to see her unveiled.

It's going to be a beauty ... I'm very excited: Short wheelbase and better proportions than the Portofino. But I do not really like the fact it´s "just" a V8 TT.
But I think it will not have an Icona/Monza design because Ferrari needs it for a new 250 GTO or a 250 GT SWB. But it's Ferrari, so you never know for sure...

Oh, I really like what I see so far. I have a feeling we will se a car that looks similar to Monza. Rear end looks sleek too. Could it be a similar design to SP1/SP2? Next week we will know.

Engine wise, I don't care anymore if it's V8 or V6. It won't sound as glorious as the cars from the past anyway. I really hope Ferrari this time makes something that stands out. Something that is pure, elegant, no broken lines, just clean lines like the Monza. New cars of 2019 just don't interest me anymore, and now I'm talking about cars in general. Cars today are so over exaggerated that it makes them boring. They are too fuzzy, too much going on design wise. Everything looks the same. And they are all fast and handles well, so design will be a future key on how to make a vehicle truly stand out.

In my opinion, simplicity and minimalism last longer, and get more appreciated over time. The Monza is a perfect example, and should be the leading design language for next Ferraris. So let's hope the "Portofino Coupe" will be just like that. Can't wait to see the car. Proportions looks very promising so far :)

I am sure you know that a lot of people beg to differ. Ferrari can't be left behind in the aero-performance stakes. Regarding appearance itself, it is such a personal matter that it doesn't make sense arguing over it.
