Hello all, Please go easy on the rookie. A friend and I were recently engaged in a debate about the models available in the classic and amazingly beautiful 275 GTB. Please advise: was there were a 275 GTB/4 Alloy with 6 carbs? We know they existed in different variants but I didn't think there was a 4 cam alloy with 6 carbs. Thanks.
All 275 GTB/4 have 6 carbs. There were 17 or so(Marcel can provide an accurate number) 275 GTB/4 built with alloy bodies.
I have three friends who own 275 GTB/4 and all of them have 6 two barrel Weber carburetors and not fuel injection.
I don't think any Ferraris were fuel injected until 1980 or 1981 or 1982. I forget. The earlier 275 GTB's, most of them had 3 carbs. All 275 GTB/4's had 6 carbs.
Interesting I would have never guessed that there were that many with 6 carbs - thank you for the information.
