Car buttoned up this evening. Big thanks to Bruce.

So, the problem was a busted Hill Engineering Throw out bearing. We suspect the leak was originally from a crack in the back of the bearing (facing engine). After putting the bearing back in and bled the clutch. It finally busted. We replaced it with another Hill engineering unit. I hope this one is going to last. After all, they were claimed to be superior to the OEM bearings which reported cracking in the past.

I would suggest inspecting the bearing thoroughly. OEM or Hill Engineering.

The 348 community is very helpful. And Daniel at Ricambi did a fantastic job getting the parts to us quickly.

Great glad it’s fixed. Hopefully you can enjoy it now. So it was the actual bearing housing that cracked?
