I chose the finish that the Sales Manager said would be less likely to chip, which he described as being shinier and without the satin finish. I have the diamond cut on my 488 and I don't believe that is an option for the 812.

Diamond finish is an option on the 812. For what its worth, I think your wheels are the best look for the 812. I think the 812 is visually a heavier car than the TDF and the other wheels look too light. These wheels look great in person and I'm glad I chose them for my 812 but if you don't like them, then change them.

Can you provide a pic of the diamond polish/cut wheels on an 812? The online configurator on the Ferrari website shows them as an option; however, the Ferrari dealer did not have on the wall examples of them, nor did the official dealership 812 configurator.
Just realized we are talking about different wheels. The standard wheels, to which I referred, do not come in diamond finish. It is the forged matte grey and forged grigio corsa that come in diamond finish.
Its really a personal preference. I generally really dislike black wheels, but I would not deny that many appreciate the look.
I think the silver polished wheels are a great fit for your spec. Get the car and see how you like it. Not a fan of black wheels. Not only do I think it's boring, I really hate how black wheels put black "holes" in the side of the car. No thanks. Why hide a beautiful wheel design.

Agreed... I compared the black w the ones I chose... Mine look much better and supports the classic look of the car which I want Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
