4 spots remain, there is still less than a month before registration closes, route books are being developed, first leg is logged and in the book! These will be very fun back roads drives with chase vehicle for roadside parts/repair

Only 75 miles from N Phoenix, Sedona, Arizona was voted top spot, first place when USA Weekend compiled their Most Beautiful Places in America list.

The most beautiful Ferrari in The most beautiful USA landscape driving to The Grand Canyon and Historic Route US 66.

    Bad news, Good news.

Good news: We drove the Day 1 driving route again this last week to finalize the route and it is going to be great fun for a Dino. A varied and scenic path is planned. Look at the first photo below where the winding road takes us through The Jerome, Arizona mining country. This is just one example of the 3rd gear Dino roads we are enjoying!

The Route Book is nearly complete with at least one daily photo stop along the way at major view points and overlooks. We have 14 Dinos registered and I am a shutter bug so of course there are planned photo ops at expected places such as the US Route 66 in Winslow Arizona - Get a photo of you and your Dino at "Standing On The Corner".
All lunch stops are now reserved. Every meal is pay-as-you-go and our lunches allow ordering off the menu with separate checks in group seating. If you enjoy fine dining, please consider coming along

Bad news: The Hotel discount has expired, although the trip still has space for more Dinos, the hotel is back to full rate pricing although it is still a great value for the location, parking and security.

Final route proving and daily "Dino group photo" spot selection were completed this week.
We want your scenic 1.5 hr drive along the Grand Canyon to be the best ever so have scouted every turnout and scenic point to summarize a list of the top 5 we recommend you see and we will stop at.

It was interesting to see there were many, many Porsche 365 cars in a club event everywhere at The Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Historic Route 66 and The Turquoise Room. I respect their choices as they obviously know our best scenic and historic touring areas!

The hotel has 2 spots remaining at our 35% discounted rates until Oct 10 then prices go back up. To thwart this for late comers, I have purchased two extra transferable rooms to preserve the rate. The rest of the hotel is sold out.
If you are on the fence and want to decide at the last minute, please consider joining us

Should you want to attend without a Dino, we welcome you in any car but simply ask that you limit passing and allow Dinos on the road to stay together for photographic reasons. This is a social event not a car show. There are guests from the EU and we cherish the chance as our goal is to share our Southwest scenery with those from afar.

Here are a few photos I took - we did find gasoline with "DinoCare" at one of our fueling stops (sans ethanol)

Correction: The rest of the hotel is NOT sold out,
the rest of our discounted block is sold out
(I am holding two rooms for late comers to get our discount)

It was a blast but we missed you! Hope you had a great birthday, but you can still catch us next year in Southern Utah for
    Dinos in Zion 2020

and then Matthias will join us after Monterey 2021 for
    North Coast CA Dinos 2021

Absolutely no car maladies at all on this trip, a great group of social people and possibly the start of the USA Dino Club.
Here are some drone shots of the group at The Grand Canyon
