Although I understand the turbo set up is just for aesthetics, it's the placement of them turbos so near to both the plastic plenums and perspex of the engine cover.
The heat I am sure would be so incredible it would melt them in very short order if driven in anger.

If there was a street-able turbo setup on there that would have my attention for sure! Even a low boost system should push the output well past 500 and give a huge midrange torque boost.

Hewland make a GB that is compatible?
Didn't a shop make a high strength input shaft for the 345/355, I know I saw one I can't find the link? What about shot peening or cryo treatment etc?

The plenums would never melt. Compressor side of the turbo's don't get hot enough.

Turbine side could damage the engine cover if they are close enough but can't tell the clearance from the photos.

I would love to see that! A sequential, straight cut dog box and drive with impunity, what fun.

Tim your widebody is tastefully done. I think a different set of wheels would really set it off though.

I have now Maranello 550 wheels but new Pirelli 265,225 tires. For driving on the street it is very good. At little wet higway I was able to drive till 270 km/h. I have a second set of Maranello wheels, because I baught for the Maranello the 550 Barchetta wheels. So I think I buy for both cars Yokohama Semi slicks 295,255 for race track driving Nordschleife, but only when it is not wet. Also a sports suspension Nitron https://www.diamondracing.de/shop/nitron-fahrwerke/ferrari/355/ferrari-355-94-99-fahrwerk-ntr-r3/

Okay I think we are taking this a little too far. I'm a purist like all of you and I don't like the fact someone modified a F355 to look like a street racer.

Then I take a step back and remember... This is SEMA! It's supposed to be wild!

I do not like Ferraris with no Ferrari Motor. The Ferrari Motor is the heart of a Ferrari.

Does anyone know a racing Ferrari that does not have a Ferrari engine? Enzo would have killed him.

The Doran Judd did. Ferrari wouldn't support a 333 racing so late, so he put a Judd in and kept going. Even won the 6 hrs at the glen per wikipedia...

When you make a Tuning, like Königs Specials, you must built all Ferrari Logos away. Königs Specials built at their Cars a KS Logo. My F355 get a 512tr motor/transmissiom and is no more a original built F355. But Ferrari see the car and give their OK for the rebuilt, but did not want it to built byself as normal model. The 512tr motor was too old. At this times Ferrari had only one motor in one model. The Lusso have now V12 and V8..

I was surfing youtube last night with the kiddos and we watched the sema video posted earlier. My kids had me cracking up, when my 4yr old saw the 355, he said. "ooooohh daddy, that one's crashed! " lol

The more i look at the back, the more i dislike it. The tires dont even appear to be seated on the bead, are probably 4" to narrow. And the rear quarters just stop, with the real body panels completely visible underneath

Another thing that turns me off to this car is the owner. I read through some of the comments on instagram. Any non-positive comments are met with a big "F U" from the owner.
Love the alignment on the 308 lol

"Ferrari see the car and give their OK for the rebuilt" means what?

Not understanding what took place for Ferrari to have seen your car and "give their OK". Seems an odd scenario for a car built by an individual.
