Fix something if it's broken. Leave non-broken stuff alone. ;)

Going thru the painful exercise to fix the warm start issue. Did the pressure test and I’m loosing all the pressure in seconds once I turn off the engine

Good luck - I went through this recently. Mine was accumulator, WUR, and leaking injectors.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS DIAGNOSIS!!! I had the same issue with "warm" starts. Car started fine cold, and hot(first 3 minutes after shutdown), but 3min-45minutes was an issue. I also measured pressure, and saw it was not holding after shutdown. But, I looked through a lot of posts by ferrari mechanics that have worked on these for 30+ years. They all said the accumulators don't ever fail, and the issue is usually the anti-drain back valve in the pump getting debris from the old tanks. There is no filter from the tank, so you get little rust particles from tank sender(and whatever else is rusting in tank). Anyhow, I listened to the very smart people, and they were right. Little particle had gotten into the anti-drain back and kept it from closing. Saved me some time and money. I also added a small inline filter immediately after the tank to avoid getting debris into the fuel system again(also recommended by people who know!). Cost to fix was very cheap. Only real drive-ability problem I have had with my QV in the 13 years I've had it.

Also, I used up as much fuel as possible before repair. Once the fuel light was pretty consistent, I put the car on the lift, and only had to drained about 1 gallon of fuel.

That is why I was asking about the accumulator. I remember the same posts about how failure is unbelievably rare and to look elsewhere first.

Had the same "Warm Start" issue on mine. It was the accumulator. Checked it by starting the car and letting it idle for a couple minutes. Then shut off the engine and removed the drain hose at the bottom of the accumulator. If fuel gushes out, it's bad.

Put new injectors. Worth every penny. You dont know how poorly your car has been running until you put in a fresh new set. It really makes a difference.

I read it as meaning the non-return valve (part #74 on this diagram): https://www.eurospares.co.uk/parts/ferrari/308-quattrovalvole-1985/fuel-system/fuel-pump-and-pipes-38781

After shutoff the system is designed to maintain pressure - so this non return valve stops fuel flowing back from the high pressure side to the fuel pump/tank etc. The other end of this closed system is the injectors, thus if they leak and drip raw fuel into the cylinder you will lose pressure.

Isnt that the return valve inside the fuel pump (in my mondial QV WSM D19 fig 18 number 3) that is part of the fuel pump itself ? Or is there an other extra valve on the exit of that pump ?

How do you remove the fuel filter inside the tank, and does both tanks has it or just one?

I figured because it's listed as a separate part then no it's not part of the fuel pump.

That is the valve that Im looking for. Do you know if you have anything available that is not as pricey as the ones from eurospares?....something along the lines of Mercedes, VW, etc? I see them available on ebay but not sure if they are all the same ....they look the same

I don't sorry - looking at my invoice, mine was $100 which seems about inline with what Eurospares are charging.
