Symoblic appears to be sold out of any early 930's. First time in a long time that he appears to have no inventory of these cars...
Chris, Thanks, got to drive to gas station to fill up with no ethanol premium, car drives fantastic. Will be a long wait for spring. I need to by a house somewhere were it's not winter. Phil
Model kit photos likely of Japanese plate 49-31 with a modified front valence. Even though the engine has a blue air filter band, this is a 1976 Turbo based on the rubber tabs in the engine bay. Clearer photo of the trippy orange checkered floor mats and appears to have a dash plaque mounted. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Another unpublished photo taken at 1973 Frankfurt IAA. This one nicely illustrates the Carrera windshield decal. From the negatives I’ve scanned, it looks like this 911 Turbo was equipped w/ Bosch H-1s. I love the look of the show attendees checking out the 911 Turbo…they usually look stunned. Period photo of a 1976 Turbo in Japan...looks like it may have a Mitsuwa Motors decal in the driver's rear quarter. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
49-31 has the same decal. Would be interesting to know if any survive today on Japan delivered 3-ltr Turbos. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I’m loving our partial move to Southern VA. Had #470 out for a couple hours yesterday, a spectacular fall day. Had Spotify playing ‘Hits of ‘76’ through the Bamberg. What a wonderful car.
Interesting that at the Nov 1974 International Motor in Tokyo, Mitsuwa Motors did not have a ’75 Turbo on display but did have a 1974 RSR and what appears to be a 1975 lime green Carrera. Porsche display starts at 0:46. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
My 75 #210 is finally home and settled into the family. Wow, what a car!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
