This is impressive. It's satisfying seeing the detail and professionalism. And hopefully the repair will be unnoticeable. So far, it looks great!

I'm sorry, but I really have to ask since no one else has, why would you give this car to a valet???

the 612 had nose scrapes , not crushed in or anything like that. I have a pic somewhere.

the owner was with his family , the valet was hanging around , the car was all the way in the basement , everybody was queued up outside to go for a rally . I guess it seemed no big to have him bring it up. the owner watched it happen . Hotel came out right away and owned it. At that point I thought the worst was a lost day of driving , little did I realize that it was going to be over a 5 month fix. :-(

I have a friend in town who traded his 599 on a new F12, he loves it. He's a four decade Ferrari owner.

Very nice job of course, but I agree 35k would already be huge Imho.
    No offense, but 80hours x 120 to 150 + 10/12000 for the whole parts= +-25000?

parts alone are over 50k, i have seen a repair order for a F12 bumper replace including muffler tips, tail lights. bottom line it is a beautiful design but a nightmare to repair, don't get hit!
    main bumper 12k
    muffler parts 12k
    lights 1.2k
    crashbox 2k
    parking sensors 1k
    undertray 2k
    protective films 7k
    engine water radiator 2k
    lots of misc stuff

Still for the life of me not know why the rear meshes weren't replaced. When it shows up the new owner will have same level of disassembly plus tires and fender wells and vent components and subcomponts. Would have saved the new owner the same ordeal and the combined cost would be less for both Ferrari and the insurer with no additional cost to you. Its not if on the vents but when.

if you are talking about the black mesh vents that have the galvanic corrosion? you don't need to take the bumper off to access them. also as far as i know the black mesh do not have a replacement part it's re-using the same part just adjusting and re-spraying the area.

If you say respraying the area is required then the bumper should come off so you don't have a paint line at the gap and do it the way the factory did when they made the car. Of course you could cheapen out but that's up to owner. Ferrari will not re-use the same mesh and warranty it. The assumption here is there is some corrosion there that has started and may not be visible from the top. Replacing them would have been covered for life and the internal and external disassembly covered by the accident anyway. Just my thoughts.
