    Mr. L. got 2455 GT from Bob Grossman in Nyack/NY 1965. It was then repainted metallic silvergrey.

    Well, Dad said that he didn't repaint it, and that it was silver when he got it. So, I have to believe him, especially since this was taken the day after he bought it.
