The Roma is drop-dead gorgeous! Has a 550/575M/612 feeling. I was so impressed by how large the Roma is: 4.656 mm lenght (vs. 4.657 mm 812 SF), 1.974 mm width (vs. 1.971 mm 812 SF). The Roma has actually the same size/proportions of a 812, and much bigger than the Portofino.
you make this car just to sell it to people because you need to sell cars....the product line is saturated just as all car makers have had to succumb to...be everything to everyone rather than a niche
Higher price than Portofino, that kills sales to 30% of what they could be in a fierce market. Aston is more or less €100k cheaper. Residuals will be awful, probably Lusso-like. Not a good way to eager new customers to the brand, look what’s happened to another English supercar brand with their regular models and that marketplace. It’s basicly a death camp for banknotes.
Upon first glance it appears very generic. Take off the little yellow emblem on the front hood and the cavallino on the front grill and trunk and I would have no idea what it is.
The DB11, especially the Volante, is a great looking GT, unfortunately however I don't like the Mercedes-sourced interior parts.
Well... for me, the 550/575M is one of the most beautiful cars of all-time. Perfect lines. But when the 550 has presented in 1996, many people call it "a Supra" e etc. This one, for me, has a Maranello feeling in the almost-35-degrees symmetric angular side windows. And the bonnet reminds the 612. And the proportions, both.
Dimensions as described are the only demerit in my estimation. Cars have become too large and sadly they are only growing. oh well. Progress marches onwards... otherwise a lovely new model
I believe they made a good decision. Imagine a tone-down Maserati Alfieri with interior like the Ghibli or, worse, the Quattroporte.
Question is, will glass screens everywhere feel more exclusive? Cannot get past the MB parts either but at least that’s something tactile. Glass cockpit did nothing for me at the Taycan preview I attended. Same feeling with the Urus although that car is an altogether different story...

I too don't like the glossy black interface, I really get mad when I see fingerprints everywhere, but that's sadly the future. More or less all new cars do look the same thanks to the government-imposed "safety features" which limit any special design cues (i.e. pop-up headlights)
