Can but how long will it take them to get the gearbox and laptime right? Days. The converse is not true.
Just watch a recent video of jaques laffite who in his 70’s got within 2 secs of Renault f1 car, when they reversed the experiment the current driver was struggling. The talent pool in F1 these days is not as good as in the 90’s it’s all about hype.

Lol......it's no wonder that there is such disagreement on whether the ROMA is beautiful or hideous looking since folks can't even agree on which car(s) it looks like.
Obviously each person sees something different when observing a person, place or thing and thus "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".
    C'est la vie !

i believe Enzo used to say that true enthusiasts prefer coupes over convertibles. i've had both california and 458 spider and can tell you there is a definite "cowl shake" associated with convertibles. they just aren't as stiff. plus the hard top verts also squeak and rattle when up.

    Exactly.

The point is though that cars must work with the drivers, not against them. A machine that fights you back is an unresolved machine.

Unless its a McLaren, literally zero shake. It’s just the old fashioned F platform that causes it.

The '9os were the days of the pay driver. Today's F1 pool is much stronger.

All current F1 drivers have driven manuals in the lower categories. An F1 driver for the '70s would struggle to even get a modern F1 going with all the technology and dozens of buttons/levers/paddles etc...

LOL! My glasses work fine, thank you very much! : )

The Roma and Daytona share a similar silhouette. The sharp point of the nose and the short rear deck favor each other. The details seem to be what people are fussing about. The grill....the taillights...the lack of surfacing or venting.

The fact that some Astons and some Jaguars (and other cars) have similar traits isn’t an accident. It’s just what a front engined GT SHOULD have to be invited to the party.

And for the record...I am not mocking anyone (at least not on purpose).

I just think it’s funny to say with ease that Ferrari is aping Aston...when it could be just as likely it’s the other way around.

No need to throw whole nations under the bus please (the “English”) especially those that practically invented everything worthwhile world wide !

Let’s celebrate all nations for what they bring to the table.

I have seen it in “real life” and it is stunning with the exterior and interior moving Ferrari to a new level of styling. It is also a genuine GT with a practical boot that can “take golf clubs” especially if the rear seats are dropped by the single press of a button inside the boot.

Don't like the "push-button" door openers as shown below (10 minute mark). Was it difficult to keep the old school levers?
