I heard that yesterday, but I didn't hear the part about the fanbase. It was just questioned why would they go through the NFL and not the agent.

 

It's not the fan base, owners are afraid Mike Pence won't attend their games Jason.

This was a poor attempt at a joke (not P&R; I never go there). At the height of the kneeling during the Anthem business, Pence and a giant entourage flew on Air Force Two from California to Indy for a Colts game, under orders from the President to walk out if the two teams' players didn't all stand. Some didn't, so Pence and all of the two luxury boxes, secret service, etc. walked out the game prior to kick-off in protest of the protest.
This is why I would starve to death if I had to tell or make jokes for a living.
