    Hi
I joined this forum many years ago when i was originally looking at 360's but ended up with a 996turbo and more recently a R8, fast forward 6 years and I picked up a 360 f1.

I had no intentions of switching from the R8 but when I seen this car listed , semi local to me in Scotland I had to go and view. Turns out the car was owned by someone I had met in the past through Porsche ownership , and at the time he had this and a 430 Scud.

I have always loved the look of the 360 Stradale but sadly these are now out of my price range in RHD , so that was the main attraction of this car but also it has good service history and a good original spec pre strad parts.

So far Im loving the car, it feels more special to own and drive than my previous cars . The looks and attention it gets is crazy and so far has all been positive. Driving feel wise I would say its more inline with my Lotus exige than any of the German cars , but also more in line with the Lotus build quality.

    Thanks for the welcome :)

Im actually glad i did not buy one years ago , as i went through a spell of only keeping cars a year or so then getting bored.

I feel with this car it will be a keeper as i have wanted one for so long, and in the mean time ive had some fast and fun cars to fill the gap.

Fantastic looking car! Does anybody know if that is standard or CS ride height? Thinking about switching over to the 19" Challenge wheels, and I would be very happy if my stance ended up looking like this one.

It is lowered mid way between standard and strad height.

Lowered simply using the stock coilovers?

That looks about as close to a Stradale you can get. Enjoy!

    Congrats she is beautiful!

curious to hear how does this compare with your 996TT. I have the turbo Manual and looking at 360s f1s.

BTW I also dig the Clios

    Hi Andre

Its hard to say as my 996 was close to 700bhp so a different level performance wise, the porsche was a brilliant car and considering it was of a similar age it did feel a lot more modern than the 360. BUT the 360 feels more special ,light and more connected when driving, i would say the 360 feels more inline with my old Lotus ExigeS than any of my other previous cars.

The green clio was my track only car ,870kg , fibreglass doors, bonnet, tailgate, Jenvey throttle bodies and a 6speed sadev sequential .
Sadly i wasn't getting enough time to use it fully so sold it on and bought the Trophy as a bit of a track, fun road car that should also hold value being one of 500 made.

Thank you Neil, definitely unfair comparison with the 360 then as your TT looked like it was a monster of a car.

my TT is completely stock, it does everything magnificently from 1700 miles road trip to taking my daughter to school. I’m sure the 360 can’t be used quite that way and every drive would be an “event”.

I really like clios, one of my friends (S. Di Luca) races them in the Italian Clio cup - a ton of fun, probably the best backroads fun car with analog feel.
