It is not a bad looking car and I am sure it will drive beautifully, but it is not as special or evocative as the SP1/2 and I don’t think McLaren have the credibility to sell a $1.7m roadster that is not a hypercar in 400 copies. The Senna is more special and one can pick up a car in Europe for close to list (ignore the ads, I have been offered two at 50k over) which is half price compared to this...I cant see how McLaren will sell this Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Not as elegant looking as the Monza body, but no doubt a vastly better car dynamically. I'd be curious to see just how "turbulence free" the cabin is due to the aero claims.

My perspective from the cheap seats is that the Monza heretofore was alone in class. Now there is a competitor. Competition is always good and it’s fun to root for ones favorite, either from afar or from the driver’s seat. In my humble opinion, the McL reinforces the Monza’s elegance and, to my eyes, a preferable simplicity including the interior. Regardless, it will be enjoyable to see more images and reviews of the Elva.

I wish Ferrari’s next Icona would be a mid engine V12 fashioned after the most beautiful race car of all time the roofless P4. It could be based on the SF90 chassis with a V12. Anyone in Maranello listening? Pretty Please!!!!
Day355 already stated the next V12 rear mid engine car is already in the pipeline aka F167. This car wil replace the superfast as soon as all 812VS and 812VS spider have been produced Next icona should be a front V12 engine car , sort of 250 gto tribute I guess

its the rosso portofino display model showed last year at a car design show in paris. Currently in museo enzo ferrari modena.
Similar to the P1, there is no way they will sell all 400. Probably sell around 100 of these if that and that probably will be the only saving grace for this car in the future.
The P1 is dropping fast right now, I have been offered cars with 3-5,000 kms for just over 1m EUR and it is a pretty special and rare car, so I’m not sure what McLaren are thinking trying to sell this for 1.7 Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
