This is the first car Enzo Ferrari ever built after leaving Alfa Romeo.
Auto Avio Costruzionia 815, located in Panzano, a few km from Maranello
It's red but not Rosso Corso. Majority of his first cars were this color.
The lighter red cars you see in the background are Alfas.
The second is a photo of a quote from Enzo Ferrari, that was on display at the Ferrari museum.
"Ask a child to draw a car, surely they will do it in red".
Buy whichever color you like the most or means the most to you.

Early post war Maserati's were also painted this color.

I have and as many have stated there is no official colour. First and foremost Enzo raced, he built road cars to fund racing. The colour red it Italy's racing colour. There is no evidence of any manufacturing team cars racing in yellow. There were private teams racing yellow Ferraris.

Enzo chose yellow for his background to the logo because it is Modena's colour. He never chose a colour for the cars and probably wasn't much arsed anyway.

I am of course happy to be proved wrong.
