I was told a few years ago that the V6tt will be very fun to drive. Driving experience will be more in focus, rather than numbers and pure performance. That's what the SF90 is for. So I think we have many reasons for looking forward to this. I have also been told like som of you here on this thread, that it will get a high reving engine. Some very clever tech is being developed for the engine and drivetrain.

Honestly, I can't wait. It will be a big surprise, and that in a good way. It will be a very exciting car and a true Ferrari :)

This is true. The F8 was introduced only to give Ferrari more time to develop the next gen mid-engine berlinetta, while still keeping up with competitors and offering something "new". It will therefore get a very short production run.

I hope it will be the complete opposite of the Roma.
Nothing wrong with that model and I would love to own one but Little Brother should be the real fun sports car of the range.

I know it has been done to death but assuming the engine in this is a V6 as we are all expecting there will never be a better opportunity to bring back the Dino name.

    If F152 is F12, and F152M is 812... what is F152 MVS?

what means VS? new model iin the same case that F8 in 458 platform?

    in what year?

The car for the V6 was F171 ¿no?

VS is the suffix for Special Version (TDF, GTO, Pista etc)

When are we expecting to see Little Brother? Before or after the 812VS and the mid-engined V12?

Rumor is unveiling sometime in 2020, and possibly production after the summer shutdown

If that is the case- F8 one and done? In production for a year only?

It seems possible that a year from now F8 coupes winding down, spider production still going and LB cranking up... but who knows

I'd venture a guess that orders will be taken for one interval (greater than one year), and assembly/delivery a longer interval (up to 2 years) to allow for financials to be optimized, teething issues on the new models to be sorted, and ease of assembly line transitioning to the new model.
    They're still producing Pistas.

Pista is done end of the year. A small amount will
Be built into first quarter 2020 with deliveries extending into the summer.

oh, I know. Believe me, I know. I just made 00. Not even 10 green. If I see my pista by next christmas, I'll be a happy guy.
my point, not well articulated, is that the actual production of the different models (incoming, outgoing) can be tweaked depending on financial needs.
stretch out the pistas to pad the quarterly statements as needed. F8s not moving as anticipated? delay those high optioned pistas.
same for SH90s to compensate for lower price-point romas.
when this new presumptive V6 is introduced, F8 coupe and spider production will gradually fade in a controlled fashion based on financial needs.
it goes without saying: this is all my own speculation with no facts to support it.
personally, i'm more intrigued by the hypothesized mid-V12. but that's for another thread.

So what the general consensus is that Pista production must end in 2019 December. Reason is all cars going forward in 2020 must have GPF and Pista obviously does not have GPF.

However Ferrari can choose to extend 10% of total production into 2020 and not put on GPF. Yours must be one of the 10%. But beyond that, Ferrari can’t play around with production numbers due to the GPF issue.

Holding cars and delivering them in the next quarter is one thing- but actually delaying production I don’t think it’s possible.

I agree, Delayed production is unlikely.
But delayed delivery? [italian shrug] there was snow. sorry for the delay.
they can assign a 2020 VIN to my build and ultimately deliver it whenever it most benefits their math.
needless to say, I'm living vicariously as you await your delivery

Well- assume it goes into production Monday. Will take about 3 weeks. Then about 6 weeks to ship to Jersey. I imaging they truck it to LA and put on a boat to Honolulu? Another 6 weeks? So minimum 3 months from Monday and you are in Q1 2020 for delivery. Very easily it could be pushed back to q2 if production starts end of December.

Good luck! Waiting sucks. I know what you are going through.

According to Enrico Galliera there will be three launches in 2020 and they will be based on current models.

Interesting - the "current models" are the Portofino, the Roma, the F8 (Tributo and Spider), the 812 (Superfast and GTS) and the SF90 (with and without Fiorano pack).
So we could try some guesses:
    - introduction of the V6 on the Roma (following the previous pattern of testing new technologies on the California)
    - 812 VS
    - more difficult for the third one: F8 VS already? SF90 VS or XX? ...
