perhaps but many people dislike the design of the SF90, I personally think it's their worst looking car in many many years
Big hole to comply with pedestrain hit standards. Who knows maybe like aston discoiveed with the vntage a 12 will fit. Yes soemthing t o lease and drive around in which will still have more sense of ocasion than most other cars. Agreed on the cheap interior, it didnt work at cadillac and wont be a hit here.
A tiny motor that you can probably pull more power out of without having to worry about space. If this car handles like it's on rails and pulls, I believe it will be a hit.
One thing is bothering me is the discontonuity between bumper and grille—necessary in order to offer that part in contrasting colors, but clearly not part of the grille-less design. A custom-moulded one piece front fascia would be very cool:

Strangely, the man who designed "la ROMA" which is one of the most beautiful Ferrari's ever made, is the same man who designed the worst car design of all time "SF90", that's quiet weird. And of-course you are right.
Top Gear recently wrote: “The new Ferrari Roma is an Aston Martin Vantage killer”. However, the Roma has drawn many comparisons to the Aston Martin DB10. They point the reminiscent of the Aston concept on the long hood and thin headlights, shark-nose style front bumper, very similar shaped window profile, flush door handles and wing mirror stalks that start at the bottom of the A-pillar. The truth about the Roma design is that it has clearly superseded the Aston concept. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Someone posted a comparison pic to the 365 GTC/4 and while I hadn't thought of it initially because I was comparing it to contemporary cars, that is the clearest link in the Ferrari lineage...right down to the most awkward part of the car being the nose! But I love the C/4 and I like the Roma quite a bit.
Yeah, they´ve been trying to kill themselves for decades with Lagondas, Ford parts and rebranded Toyota minicars, without success, so it´s pretty safe to say that they´ll be around for a looong time. P.S: after years of stagnation, I like what they´ve been doing lately.
What is the likelihood that a Roma Spider is in the works...and that car will replace the Portofino altogether? Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app

Quick comment on the Aston Martin comparisons. I was very fortunate to be able to spend a significant amount of time around and in the hero car (meaning the one for close-ups and Bond shots) DB10 from SPECTRE. It's an ok looking car - sort of a blend of the DB11 and new Vantage - but tiny! It does have some similarities with the Roma, but the Roma will most certainly be bigger and have a longer, more elegant front end. Also, I was at my favorite Aston dealer over the weekend and looking at the DB11, again. Such a beautiful car. While considering its design and thinking of the Roma's, it struck me how much more clean and elegant the Roma appears. The DB11 is more brutish and heavy looking - perhaps more masculine, but strictly from the vantage point that it's not so crazy pretty like the Roma. The Roma looks tough in its own right. I like how the Roma looks like the clay model before all the breaks in the body for production happen for reality. In that respect it’s very different than the cars to which it’s being compared. While I see small aspects of jag and Aston in the silhouette, that’s a pleasing proportion so I appreciate rather than deride it. I don’t personally like the grill in light colors. Tdf would be pretty, or any dark grey, or perhaps Russo Portofino (with a darker grill).
The more I study the Roma. The more I like it. Including the grille. You make a very good point. They have masterfully made the body with minimum panel gaps. It does look like a concept. I think when we see it in person it will be drop dead gorgeous.
