If only Ferrari had chosen only red for the presentation, nobody would have said that Roma was a DB10. They are different. DIFFERENT. How boring

In the gallery, in the wallpaper, on the site, the car is gray. At the show gray, blue and white. In the previews of journalists in white. The red one stood totem style in the middle of the marbles...

I love the shape of this car but its such a pity we have a Ferrari with such, on paper at least, uninspiring engine. Maximum power between 5750 and 7500. Why bother revving to 7500, the car wont accelerate faster, they may as well give it a red line of 6000 rpm.

Other than that, a truly stunning car!

IMO red is the worst color for this car. It has to be something light that shows the form better.

Now the simple design of this car is the type that should be all motor, but they must have their reasons... Did they go with turbo acceleration lift flutter like on the 488 gt3? Waste gate or blow-off valve...

    Guys, wake up.
Manufacturers have no choice. All the stupid new laws force manufacturers to downsize. Even if you don't like it.
People who are used to V12s are now slowly being forced to accept V8s, people who are used to V8s will have to accept V6, and V6 people must accept 4-cylinders, etc.
Naturally with all sorts of Turbos..
    This is only the beginning!

Yep. They will keep chipping away until we're all in electric autonomous cars without steering wheels.

Same thing with people that complain how big and bloated cars are now... it's because of the safety regulations.

Brainwashing. As somebody said before here on fchat and was then attacked.
Autonomous cars? What a joke! My brand new MB AMG GLC 63 S has about 8 cameras and they cannot even properly recognize/read speed limit signals/signs (to show on head up display etc. and NO I have not been fined and not received any speeding tickets). We are years away from really functioning autonomous cars. Lightyears.
Thanks to all the politicians, notably in the EU...…………..(irony off).

It will maintain maximum acceleration until 7500 though and the next upshift will bring the revs back to within the maximum power range again.

All valid points but surely given the way Ferrari seem to torque manage it would be possible to bump max power up the rev range a bit or perhaps the idea with this car is to give a more GT feel.

You will be forced to, when they ban old cars inside towns.

Then, people will just buy the cheapest electric car and enjoy the better cars on the track.

They're like oversized golf carts. I've looked on stripped down teslas before and I'm convinced I could build my own electric car from scratch if I wanted.

If manufacturers don't produce cars I like, I will certainly stop buying.
    No problem with that.

Let us all pray that this doesn’t occur for a long, long time....

Although, haven’t they already started banning certain cars in some European towns? Fortunately, I feel it will be very difficult to push this sort of legislation through in the United States.

Actually it´s not the manufacturers´ nor the regulations´ fault: it´s the customer´s. It´s easy to build eco-friendly V12s or whatever. The problem is that customers want more power and braggin´ rights, and getting higher outputs while staying below the pollution limits is not so easy. Therefore the smaller turbocharged engines.

So why don´t you stop whinning and ask Ferrari or whoever to build the car you want in one of those customer panels. You´ll realize that you´re in a minority of purists.

In the near future, there will be no tracks, no registration of ICE vehicles and of course no sound at all (a Silent World we are all going to have to learn to live in!)

Personally I can like an electric Ferrari, no problem with that. Furthermore, an elegant design must be sufficient.
