I had posted about error code P1552 but no one seemed to know what it was.

Turns out it is the right bank VARIATOR SOLENOID. Apparently the connection sometimes works its way loose and throws the error code. It supposedly causes some mild loss of power, but I had not noticed any.

Anyway, 2 hours labor to get to it and reconnect it.

It was reconnected. It happened again after some time and the tech put some silicone sealer or caulk around it. So far so good.

Had my 2007 430 shipped to Atlanta - it arrived with a P1552 code. The dealer's mechanic saw that the solenoid was disconnected (5 min of labor). Plugged in - all set.
