Many discussions about 488 battery failure and the importance of using a tender/trickle charger.

Has anyone installed a battery cutoff switch for use if the car will be parked for a period and using a tender is not an option?

I'm curious specifically about doing this is a Pista w the new lithium battery. Is anyone aware of potential complications of doing this? My dealer did not know.

Old first check to see if the Pistas third brake like shows light even if the car is off like the 488 GTB

IF so I dare say it needs power even if the car if off

I remember discussions about that from some time ago but can’t recall the significance.
Power will be used when the car is off, but what’s the downside of cutting all power?
