North American filmed ad with big bumpers on the Douze. We had two Metros when I was growing up, one always had smoke coming from behind the dash unsurprisingly. They didn’t seem to rust for some reason and they were relatively popular at the time, 20 years after they were built and I remember there were still half a dozen or more in regular use around the island. The doors were reversible, Nash saving on stamping costs.

When I first saw it I thought of a car in one of my old Tin Tin comic books....No idea why though. Totally get the Potato Head reference.

Normally, I try not to criticize others cars.
Couldn't help myself on this on this one.

Toyota Origin. Standard Vanguard/Ford Consul nose with a Vauxhall Cresta backside. Love the colour, prettier than any current Toy by a mile.

This will be a question with no photos. Years ago I was told of someone who had a "rare" vintage Mercedes. One of the things they said about it was that it had a foot pedal or lever inside of the car that when actuated greased all of the suspension components.

Did something like this exist and if so what vintage?

Don't know about Mercedes but my old Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 1 (1957) had a lever to the left of the pedals that did just this and I do not think it was the only marque to sport this feature.
