Guys I propose we make this thread a sticky thread (treat :)?) that always appears at the top of our group chats.

What can we do? what we need to do ?:)

I would have the 550 much more than the Daytona. Even if the Daytona is more expencive. The 550 looks GREAT in red. It is like the heart of Maranello comes at you.

having the paint go only partially up the side of the windscreen on the barchetta works so well, every time I see a photo of one my eye is drawn to the beautiful lines of this car, then I scanning the car as to why it looks so good, and finally my eyes rest on that part of the car. very clever design.

I say very clever on your part to motice that. I feel the same way and the yellow color brings it out even more.

That Superfast really takes up a parking space.

The spaces were really tight. I rushed to grab the end spot so I could go right up to the curb and get an extra foot or so of room. That said, the cars seemed very close in dimensions and general proportions - just one more classic beauty, and the other perhaps a bit more (ahem...) edgy.

That Superfast front end looks quite large. No where near as graceful as yours.

Fantastic photos of the 550 next to the 275. Great to see.

Hi Ruben. In my opinion the 550 is better looking than both the 812 and the 275. The design is just exquisite. Simple as that. However, I would not say no to become a 812 owner.... I like the front alot. No so impressed about the Corvette rear.

    Happy weekend!

I adore the look of 550, but I'm not sure if some object in the automotive world could be named prettier than the (...short nose...) 275 GTB...;):D

Hi Erik - agreed, I wouldn’t say no to a Superfast either, but it wouldn’t be for its looks - it is undoubtably an amazing car with incredible specs. It’s an ok looking car, but IMHO, the design of late model Ferraris has not been as good as when Pininfarina was at the helm of the designs.

Hasn’t the F12 a Pininfarina badge? How is this story with the design by or with influence by Pininfarina?

All the new design starting with the F12 are made in-house by a team led by Flavio Manzoni. He is a great guy I had drinks with him in Milan but frankly the new designs go over board and in some cases and details they became truly overdesigned.

The older design where much cleaner and with a true DNA look. Now they look more like japanese/american sport cars. Nothing against those but not original and clean. Still in some color combinations they can be beautiful and certainly imposing. The old ones, including the Maranello in particular, are already going to become classics and they are signed by Pininfarina.
