FF - 10 yrs later and i discovered

the camera button actually does something. i only have a rear camera and i thought the oem camera button was to activate the front camera on cars that have one. in turns out, when you are in reverse if you hit that camera button it changes the view of the camera. not as cool as when i discovered the cup holder slides back and forth (that was an exciting day) but still cool to know its not a dead button!

 

And I thought I didn’t have folding mirrors as every time I twisted the mirror knob to the rear position, nothing happened.

it turns out that the ignition needs to be on...

See, that's the excitement of Italian car ownership. The gift that keeps on giving, the constant surprise. Imagine how dull it would have been, had it been a Merc. Here we get oddly labelled buttons. If any labels at all. The owners manual is a treasure trove of puzzles and riddles Nothing beats getting into a Ferrari or Maserati and having your brain twisted a bit, in order to figure out how to perform the most basic of tasks. It's brilliant and it forces you to interact with the car. Wouldn't want it any other way

Lol. You said it. When we shifted from daylight savings, it took me 10 sec to reset the clock on the Porsche. The Ferrari, 3 weeks and counting! [emoji2]

Slight thread drift, sorry but I have found out that if you want to eliminate the 4 wheel steer on the Lusso just put it in Snow Chain Mode. you can still use sport mode. Brilliant.

I have a question. How do you get the right side mirror to go back to where you had it after going in reverse. I have even adjusted the mirror (while in reverse) where it should be when I am driving. It always resets looking way out and down

I think you have to set mirror as you wish, seat position, steering wheel, etc. and then save it if you have the memory (full electric) option.

I accidently put the car in car wash mode on my previous Cali T , I have no idea what I did. Is it really necessary ? isn't neutral just fine?

I wonder if the 612 has that feature

 

It's in all of them. Not entirely sure why they call it car wash mode. It's basically just a mode that makes it possible to move the car i.e the engine is off along with the parking brake and no gear box locking. Oh well
