Quit using Palo Alto a very long time ago. Have used Mo Ma Mfg for a long time after several very unsatisfactory experiences at the previous.

D&M sounds like possibly a good choice and they are close to you.

I've never had a Ferrari gauge repaired, but I have done a number of BMW motorcycle gauges...

The ones I can't do myself, I now send almost anywhere but Palo Alto. Just my experience.

If you have the original movement of the clock repaired, it will only work for a little while and then stop working again. Palo Alto Speedomenter can install a modern quartz movement where the second hand ticks just like the original, and it will never fail again. Their time period on gauge repairs is hit and miss, but I have never had a problem with their work.

Moma is the top of the heap in terms of quality, they do the gauges of most of the Pebble Beach cars. They sometimes have a long wait list due to the demand for their work. They literally created a gauge for a 166 barchetta out of nothing for a car that was missing one. I don't know if they do a quartz conversion on the Veglia clocks, but you can contact them to see if they do.

Palo Alto did the speedometer on my Mercedes 280SE. No issues, works great (the odometer had failed). My 911S also needs the same thing, and the guy I'm using to work on it says he has someone just as good, but who can get it done in a more timely fashion. YMMV...

Palo Alto did my clock within the past 6 months or so. I've used them many times over the past 15 years and although their work is not inexpensive I've never had an issue with them.

I certainly have. Will never go back. Lost the works for a very rare instrument and blamed it on me. But magically they had a spare and offered to sell me the parts I needed at an astronomical price.

    And that was strike three.
