The crystal in my Ferrari watch 17.1.14.0107 broke. I sent it in to the authorized repair folks who wanted to charge me the price of a new watch. I told them to send it back.

I assume these need a special crystal or something. The local shop in the mall said they couldn’t fix it.

Otto Frei in California has always been able to get NLA parts for my watches. Allen Furman Jewelers is a grey market dealer just outside DC who also seems to be able to get parts. I have never used their watch repair services, but I believe they have a “real” watchmaker who does their overhauls.

BTW, Frei will want the size of the crystal.

You only need an adequate jeweler. This is an easy fix.
