I think its a new/rebuilt engine ready to use so you could put it into something but at 18K RPM not sure how long it would actually last:)

It's a terrific engine, if you can afford to have it rebuilt every 5 hours of use.

As great as this engine was, there were a couple of other factors that helped the F2002 win so many races:

    1) The car had a superb, class leading chassis design, with a perfect balance.

    2) The car's aero package was pretty much perfect, and better than any other teams.

    3) Bridgestone designed tyres specifically for the F2002, to detriment of every other Bridgestone shod team that year.

Annoyed by Bridgestone's close ties to Ferrari in 2001, and suspicions that the 2001 tyres were already being designed with a bias towards Ferrari's car, all of Ferrari's biggest rivals switched to Michelin:

    2002 Bridgestone teams
    Ferrari
    Sauber
    Jordan
    BAR
    Arrows

    2002 Michelin teams

    McLaren
    Williams
    Renault
    Toyota
    Jaguar
    Minardi

    4) Michelin's 2002 tyres were badly compromised due to having been designed to try to suit all of their supplied teams cars, rather than just one of the teams, as was the case with Bridgestone.

    5) The Ferrari F2002 had Michael Schumacher behind the wheel, when he was in his prime.

So yes, the 2002 Ferrari 3.0 V10 was a great engine, but it also had a lot of help!
