Most of the ferrari products I have come across dont have good entertainment system such as a good touch screen and so many other entertainment features.

What could be the cause ?

It appears to be the same control panel on the Dodge Ram. (Also an FCA product)

If it's more intuitive and less comical than the control panel on my Cali, that'd be big plus in my opinion!

OMG, these are sports cars not the family truckster. You are missing the point of a Ferrari by a mile. You are supposed to be involved with the machinery aspect of the automobile, the engine music, the connection with man and the machine. That is the entertainment. If you want a touch screen go buy a Toyota.

I agree with that in the main, but a lot of people daily drive their F-cars. In that scenario, having better, more intuitive HMI would be a major plus IMO...T

I daily drive my 612. It has a relatively small non touch screen and controls are on the steering wheel. I like it a lot and I don’t need more than that. I hate that MB and others now want their interiors looking like Tesla’s. Not a good trend IMHO.

Agreed, but if they're going to put one in, then put one in that works at least as well as the {insert almost any other car}. I mean, they charge enough for it.

That's Ferrari's way of thumbing their nose at the idea in the first place same with the sound system. these cars are not meant to be "any other car"

They do have infotainment screens on the more daily-drivable models like the Lusso and the Portofino.
In my opinion, a decent infotainment screen doesn't make a Ferrari any less of a Ferrari, Mclaren does this pretty well.

I like a nice sounding stereo but other than that is one of the problems with modern Ferraris.

The uconnect system is one of the best in car units available. However Ferrari could easily reconfigure the look of the unit without too much investment. The California and FF used the same head unit as my wife's Caravan..that was a fail. I really hope the ferrari head units in the later cars look different then my Ram. It works and looks great, but does not belong in a 300k exotic car.

Given that people “daily drive” >95% of the same roads what the heck does someone need with big touchscreens?
You getting lost driving home from work?
I think Ritalin should be pumped into the water nowadays....
How about drive your Ferrari and enjoy the moment....

The entertainment comes from the engine. An audio system is unnecessary.

Disagree. The sound is nice at various rpms. But on a highway at a constant speed it can get a little thin. A bit of music or talk radio is always welcome during those times.

You probably don't have a full aftermarket exhaust system on your car!

The screens are adequate for their purpose, easy to use, and yet blend away from the real drama, the central rev counter

    a) the music comes from the engine compartment.
    b) you are supposed to keep both hands on the steering wheel.
    c) did you notice there are no cup holders?
