Was there just the one "stradalized" (6025)? If so, I had a wild ride in it with it's then owner Roberto Benelli in his home town somewhere in Italy. I was there to look at a 250GT Lusso that he had advertised, but he picked me up in the LM, and drove us back to his villa without slowing for any intersection; just flash the lights and honk the horn. Full throttle all the way! I remember the bumpers, back window, and full leather. Seems like it was silver then. Them was the days!

Drove that car twice when owned by H.I. in Germany. Funny story: I was with his mechanic in Italy when H. I. called me requesting the tel.-no. of the owner of #6217 in NZ. The mechanic could help. Next morning H.I. called again, confirming that he had bought the car. It was shipped from NZ to the mechanic in the UK for a resto that took almost 2 years. His mechanic shipped the car to H.I.`s garage. 2 years later I received a call from H.I. at around midnight: "Walter, do you know where my LM is?" "WHAT???" "Yes, I have no idea where it is!" "Ehhhh...that means you don`t know where you have parked 6 million you have paid for the car?" "Hmmm, yes! Tomorrow, I am on my way to NYC - can you find it for me?" I found it - it was stored on a scrapyard in Essen, Germany that was owned by a friend of H.I.! I drove over to see the car and found the still fresh restored #6217 now covered with about 1 cm of dust...! I cleaned the car and took that photo. After that I drove the car to my house where I stored it in my garage for 1 week until H.I. was back home. Image Unavailable, Please Login
he knew that he had the car but where it was he had completely forgotten. Yesssss, H.I. (who is still a very good friend) was rather "special"...
A "dark blue Ferrari"??? Currently he has no classic car in that color. His modern Ferrari V8 is dark blue or do you meant the dark blue Maserati 450S he once owned?
I was thinking of 3809 which was actually red. My mistake on the color but I knew he had owned the car for a long time in the past. Sold in 2016 it appears. Thanks for the correction on the color as that one was not blue.
Does anyone know which LM this is? I saw it posted on Instagram this morning - ferrari_classiche Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think that is the one in Japan which some Fchatters have said is a replica. I asked for more details but no answers so far. Certainly looks nice.
