I bought a 2005 f430, no books in car, so I don't have the radio code, how do I get the code? I would assume from the dealer? Each time I have asked the local dealer to me for any information on my car.. they say they cant tell me anything unless I bring the car in for service.

I'm guessing to get the serial number, you need to remove the radio?

I'm pretty sure thats correct. You probably can do it if you have the tools/ expertise; but I'd recommend a visit to the dealer for it.

Recently did it on my 599 -- if you do it slowly and carefully you can get it out without disconnecting it - this allows you to get the code without losing power (and so needing the code :))

You'll need the removal keys. There are tabs on either side of the radio that require insertion release keys. They sell anywhere from $3-10 (eBay, Amazon, etc.). Many high end car stereo shops carry these keys as well. They may pull it for you so you can see the SN of the radio.

anyone here have a connection to get radio codes? I was just able to pull out my radio and model number is BE 6105 & the serial number is 55004601
second question...how do you enter the code? my radio says I have to wait 2000 seconds to try again, is there a way to reset that or bypass that wait time?
    thank you

Call your dealer to get code, probably the only way.

Presume you checked for the radio code card in the car docs, or on the inside cover of the manual. Sometimes the dealer would put all the car codes in the manual.

There was (is) a fellow names Lil Daz on this forum who could give you the code. Hopefully he’ll see this thread. He bats 100% on providing the correct code.

Once you get the code, when you power the radio on, you will be asked to enter the code. Scroll to each number and press the right hand knob.

The radio times out after a series of incorrect numbers and you have to wait.

There is actually a way to bypass the waiting period - my son figured it out (he's way smarter than me) I'll ask him and post it here. FWIW you can get radio removal tools at any Autozone/O'Reilly's that will work, you just need to get something similar to the ones that came with the car.
I had the same issue with my radio when I got the car - when I pulled the radio out, the 4 digit code was on a sticker on top of the radio - it looked like it had been put there by the factory, so maybe give that a whirl. Not sure why they would do that, but they did.

I also turned off the main power and lost my radio, though I never listen to it. The easiest is to have the shop you take the car to address the problem.

Get on EBay. For $35, Becker will email you the code and mail you a code card so you have it. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I did this when I bought my 430.
