I see a good deal of chat here about tire pressures, but these all seem to relate to 19” wheels. Does it make a difference if the car is fitted with 20” wheels or do the same pressures apply equally to both 19” and 20”?

Tire pressures recommended by Ferrari are empirical, they tested them to get the best pressures for that combination of model, wheels, and tires. With non-OEM wheels and tires, or even with different from recommended suspension settings, the best you can do is make an educated guess around Ferrari's recommendations. It is then trial and error to get pressures that make her handle like you want her to. Science does not help here as well as an educated rear end.

Best way is to use a probe temp sensor to test inboard, center, and outboard portions of tires when hot immediately after you come off the track.. That is the way it is done at the track. If you do this after a normal drive on the street and get big differences in temps you were way off pressure, or alignment wise. On the street, get it in the ballpark. If you are driving crazy and you spin, pressure too high? To low? Maybe just driving crazy on the street?

Side of the tire only has maximum recommended pressure for the tire. Riding around with the tires set at 50 psi is not going to do much for handling, braking, or tire wear.

Jason- Might work, might not. If all you do is trundle around in a straight line at low revs, close enough.

From the original post , it doesn't sound like this question is based on hitting the track . I have played with air pressure in mine and i can tell you that the TT setup will cause tire spin with low and high pressure . I run 30 and it works for me....and my car does more than trundle in a straight line at low revs .
