I am talking about the new 2018 onwards interiors not the button based Macan stuff. On a more positive note I took the Pista Spider out for an early morning blast in the hills below London, was lovely. Still not as emotional as my 458SA but better than my initial impressions. Less scuttle shake than my 458SA and much quicker of course. Not many places where one can enjoy that level of performance sadly, Sunday drivers dawdling and speed cameras everywhere but still lovely. Was only 6/7 celcius shame can’t get seat heating with race seats.
Okay, I see where you are coming from, but IMHO what matters in a sports car is the driving experience and Ferraris' ergonomics in that respect (seating position, steering, paddles and controls placements etc) is stellar. Menus and sub-menus give me a headache in all cars; the Germans are the worst offenders, as you have to delve into menus for simple functions, such as adjusting the cabin temperature. What was wrong with the good ole knob? BTW, I prefer physical buttons to menus and screens and I am happy that in the rear-mid engined Ferraris there are no stupid touchscreens, that get filthy with fingerprints and are hard to aim when on the move. The definition of Kitsch. Only Spykers are as bad, or worse.
Agree the steering wheel wouldn't change anyones mind. For me I just like the wheel on the F8 and would like to change it on my 488 if I don't get the F8.
