will a Scud header work on a F430?

Headers..maybe...muffler exits are different though.

 

I have a Capristo race exhaust system on my 2006 F430 and it works fine. Pretty expensive though.

Yes scud headers fit fine on a 430 only differences are no precats but have air rails to compensate. My 430 has challenge headers which have neither precats nor air rails and they are fine, just a bit louder. Not the whole scud system though. Different muffler/exits and rear panel as in the above pic.

Or to be more technically correct, seal off the air rail with a weld cap, then its a massive improvement over 430 headers as noted they dont have cats, but doubt you`ll find a cheap pair ?

 

The Air Rails will either have to be removed or sealed depending on how much work you want to before the install.
Most aftermarket companies include covers/seals with the air rails so you have the option to run them or not.

 

Just buy Tubi headers. They're better than Scud headers and half the price.
