2022 Pininfarina Battista First Drive Review https://www.motor1.com/reviews/529560/2022-pininfarina-battista-first-drive/ .
Got to try out the Battista two days ago In a word-WOW My thoughts on the car after spending 1 1/2 hours with it : Design- phenomenal- it’s as if Pininfarina had a Ferrari 458(or it’s subsequent 488/Pista/F8) abducted by aliens and returned to earth better in every way and in carbon black looks out of this world. Now the same may be said of McLaren designs but where the McLarens may look odd the Battista looks like a natural progression of sports car design. Love it from every angle inside and out. Drivetrain- hyper nuclear power with instant delivery well managed by the drivetrain. It’s as close to being shot out of a cannon and surviving. Handling- for such a heavy big GT car it drives like a much smaller lighter super sport car- kinda like the 812 does as well but firmer on the suspension Noise- not sonorous like a Ferrari V12- but definitely not silent. The car has a drivetrain hum to it that gives the car a very mechanical feel The Battista is a major achievement for the creme de la creme car designer. For 2+ million dollars it should be. Unlike its brother from another mother Rimac, the car looks absolutely stunning, drives and it feels like a completely analog car despite being completely digital with gobs of emotion with an explosive acceleration that will scramble you brain and leave your eyeballs permanently imbedded in the back of your skull. Enthusiast drivers- the EV future may not be as bleak as we expected as this technology trickles down to lower price levels. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
