Keep it. It's amazing.
Alas, car poor..... would love to have it was looking for blue when I found my silver.... just can't swing it and the other cars.... sigh..... GLWS
Wow...down to $69,000. This is a really unique look. Awesome combo, and love that it has been driven so much. Good luck!
This is a classical example of this society wanting 2+2=5. A high mileage example owned by an enthusiast is shore to be less problematic. Everyone is more concerned over their $00.01's & resale - Rather than finding a well sorted example, they can enjoy hassle free.
Exactly, a well sorted out car that can be driven & enjoyed. Reading what the engine rebuild cost, probably making a few 328 owner's nervous about their cars with 50-60 thousand miles,(or more), & all the decades of wear and tear, how much longer will it be, before they have to spend $40,000 plus on a major engine overhaul? That will really bury some owner's financially, in their cars.
Hoping that this line of thinking catches on soon! haha. My ebay listing ends in about 5 1/2 hours. Reserve is set at $65,000.
Looks like the car is sold. I'll let you know when the deal is finalized. I'm happy to say that the car is going to a fellow f-chatter. When things are completed, he can identify himself if he wants to. Thanks guys.
Did you keep it, or did it go? Needless to say from my perspective, a very desirable 328! Got a Pilot Touring too. Don't know if I should say great minds think alike, or we both have some sort of similar affliction!
She's staying with me. I'm going to wait a few years and then add something to the garage then. I've come to the conclusion that this car is too special for me to part with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Glad to hear! You have chosen wisely! An opportunity down the road will likely present itself to you to add something equally as special as your Azzurro 328.
I would have loved to buy it from you, but am happy just as equally knowing she will be loved! Cheers
Good for you, Augustine. I was rooting for you and for a good deal, but I'm equally happy to learn that that gorgeous blue 328 will continue to be cherished, like only a true enthusiast can. Kind regards, Nuno.
Back on market as owner looking to move this as well as a 348 SS, flying mirror TR, Mondial cab, 79 930, Lamborghini Jalpa and a few others to buy an F40! See commercial ad section with link below; https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/1989-328-gts-azzurro-crema-59-900.607326/
Nice car !! , I wanted to ask why the 45 k rebuild did not include powder coating and or painting the valve covers and plentium, and maybe making the motor look as new as the rebuild ? Fuel pump, air box, etc.. Thank you
