What was the water temp like on the gauge? I have had this issue on my 355...it was a bad thermostat, stayed open not allowing engine to warm sufficiently. Another time it was always hot. The motor that controls the heater valve for the HVAC died in the open position, so I got heat constantly.
This happened to mine last year. I simply turned the battery switch off in the trunk for 10 mins then turned it back on. That fixed the problem.
