Why not? Looks cool. Just don't paint it red.

I think you should keep it factory black. There are only so many Ferraris in the world and eventually we will look back at two eras: Ferraris with engines and Ferraris with electric motors. I believe we have a duty to preserve and protect Ferraris for generations to come. I did see your video and I'm a bit torn on what I'd do if I were you. Because I agree that lime green is sooo good looking. To me it screams 70s. But the purple is maybe slightly cooler. I love cars in purple. And I can't help but think that if you did paint it in that color, you are still giving the car a good home and in the end that's all that really matters.

How about green? I’ve never seen a British racing green 308. I think it would look stunning.

Yeah that's cool but I do think purple is about 20% cooler. The green that was considered was that 70s avocado green.

My vote: Leave in black and use a colored wrap in the area you wish to try purple.
    Good luck in your artistry.

I personally love the idea of a deep, dark purple. I used to have a BPM (Bright Purple Metallic) Firebird Formula decades ago that I still regret selling, dark tinted windows, it really looked awesome. This isn't my car, just one I found on the net..
