    Bill Mitchell, former VP GM Design, had a thing regarding red wheel wells.
    He said the 'inside of an animal is red' so it would make sense to have red wheel wells. He said it , not me!

    The car he wanted as his retirement present. Embodied many of his designs 'isms" - fender peaks, boat tail, the side glass dip, brightwork beltline, exaggerated proportions. Or, described another way, an updated boat tail Riviera at a scale that he had originally intended. But his present's funds were instead put to the Trans Am sportback show car.

    The retirement present he did get from the board included appointing a successor that he absolutely did not want.

    Good. I no longer have to worry about buying a new car ever again and can save my money for other stuff. New cars are overpriced anyway because of such easy financing among other things.

    Hmmm... not appealing at all. I hope that design language doesn't catch on.

    Actually... if you ignore the bronzed kid wearing a gas mask playing leapfrog over an upturned barrel of oil, that's not half bad. :D

    More seriously, that design is actually pretty nice. It's quirky and clean. I like it. :)

    Any hope Cadillac makes the Elmiraj? Or are they shelved as just concepts with no hope of ever becoming reality? Something that size and design could hold a huge battery and make a nice GT cruiser for the EV push all brands seem to be doing. Like the nice looking Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e.
