Did he try to create a bat-mobile here? Well he failed in all and ruined the looks of a beautiful car!

Thanks for sharing Grant. Did you take out an extra insurance for this event? This as any damage would not be covered by a normal car insurance policy.

Yes I did take out track insurance, it was only £50 from my insurance company, classic line.

I had some crazy quote from other people though when I was trying to get full cover which seems not possible.
If another car hits you, you have to claim on your own insurance and if the car is written off then you only get back 80% of the value [ I think that was the amount]

I had a large operation to remove my prostrate 2 days later as it was full of cancer /tumours, so I just thought, what the hell and went for it. I am all fixed now fingers crossed.
Sorry the sound is out of sync on the video, it seemed to get lost in the conversion to MP4

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately does my insurance not offer this. A separate insurance will set me back a few 1'000.
I understand your motivation and fully agree. Happy that it all is history.

Taste and specs always is a very difficult topic. It is very individual and what for one looks great, would disgust another.
Whatever your choice, as long as you are happy, all is OK.
With some (fortunately not too many), taste is lost and they tried to make a failed fantasy specie ... examples in another thread galore.
I agree with Italiafan, the exterior is stunning whereas I would have lost the many green elements in the interior. The car though stands out!
