Well those look pretty good to me thanks for posting that. Now if we can get some shots of AP headers and then some shots of top speed headers we can do some good comparison

AP and Fabspeed headers are the same.

The Fabspeed blankets should fit. They are made by Thermal Zero and you can order direct: Ferrari F430 / F360 Manifold Blanketing Kit ? Lava | Thermal Zero

It's also possible to wrap the headers in header wrap (picture old school hot rod). Materials are under $200

I have the Fabspeed header blankets and the Thermal Zero blankets, in looking at the pictures on their website, are different. I believe the materials are the same but the Thermal Zero's seem to be pleated to contour the headers better. With the Fabspeed blankets, it takes a little work to fit them around the headers. The design of the Thermal Zero, IMO, looks to have a better fit. Only concern about them is that it looks like velcro is used to strap the end. I wonder how they would hold up in the heat if that is the case.

I have access to an industrial sewing machine. I was thinking of buying header blanket material but im not sure where to buy it or which to buy

Just ordered the headers and will be wrapping them myself. This would be a great solution for temp control. I will post my results when I receive them.

Guys a quick google search came back saying that while the heat wrap works great performance wise for the car, it will break down the header prematurely because of higher temp trapped or corrosion due to condensation etc. what do u guys think?

I did not use wrap, blankets or coating and my car runs fine. Actually like I said before I think it runs cooler

That's only a major consideration for non-stainless steel exhaust that sees all weather conditions (rain, salt/snow) that binds into the wrap and accelerates deterioration of the pipes.

This is extremely unlikely in a Ferrari.

+1 Highly unlikely for a low mileage car with SS headers. Just make sure high quality wrap is used. Titanium wrap is a good choice.

Hi, did you end up getting the top speed pro 1 headers? How did they fit? Any CEL? What did you use for the heart management?
    Thanks

I’ve had the top speed headers for three years and 16,000 miles now. Perfect fitment and no cel.

Here is a Top Speed header picture showing the welds on the manifold flange. They are all lined up and are of very consistant quality.

Top speed headers installed a few weeks ago—

they needed some simple machining to fit

    decking
    And adjust the bolt holes

    running fab speed blankets.

A solid budget option but be prepared for some extra steps.

Which thermal zero blanket did you get? I have top speed headers and would love to get a blanket set other than fab speed.

I hate to say it...but go with the Fabspeed blankets.
The Thermal Zero's will fail within a year. I believe Dan, here on the fchat, had them and they failed within a year. I've had the Fabspeed blankets on for 3 years and they still look and feel pretty good. Avoid the wraps....they suck.

I'm trying to source some inconel for a future wrap of the headers. I have some for my testpipes.

IMO, this doesn't look very good. There will be some airflow restriction and it will not be optimal. To port it out will probably weaken the welded area.....you may be able to do a little smoothening without risk.
