    My alternator pipe broke apart. It was soaked in oil....for years probably. Ricambi has them new for $163--Yikes! Has anyone worked a simple substitution?

    Figure that one will last as long as your original.....

    I recently gave the dealer $200 for the thermostat and installation parts.
    Life is too short.....I don't blame you for asking though!!

    Maybe others will know.

    The flexible ducting? That stuff is dirt cheap and sold by the foot by various vendors. McMaster is my go to..

    I ran a $4.00 180 degree thermo for a 1980 VW in my ex 308 for 15 years...I spent he other $196.00 on hookers and booze, life is short ;)
