Hey, Looking to replace my Clutch/Flywheel on my 2000 360 Modena. Currently at 47,000KM (30,000 Miles) Anybody have any suggestions on what else I should refresh while i'm in there? I'm also doing the 30K Mile Service, and plan on changing to any and all upgraded Hill Engineering Parts. Anybody have a list by any chance? Looking to completely overhaul the F1 too, so I'm open to replacing things. Thanks in advance!
When they did my 2005 F430 F1 clutch (at 22K miles), they resurfaced the flywheel, replaced the flywheel bolts, clutch travel sensor, and throw out bearing. My indy shop said you might as well address any "wear" parts while you have it all opened up. I am not sure if this is also the same thought process for the 360 Modena, but thought I would share my experience. All the best!
flywheel bolts and clutch bolts are a must, that's given. top: used ones bottom: new ones pretty much all that "can be" replaced in a "whhile in there" situation, except the throw out bearing base. Mine is having excessive wear, so Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ah, seems the Superformance Kit should be good, and just scoop up a Slave Cylinder and also whatever bearings there are.
Eurospares have a kit that replaces every part in there for way less than other vendors. Great value, bearings, flange, flywheel, bolts, seals, it's all there. Their part number: Part No: 70001612 Superb value, I fitted to my car 2 years ago. All factory parts.
Thanks wbt, will give that a look! Seems there's lots of kits available, wish there was a full kit with all the HE Parts already included, haha.
