Thanks..I never cut costs so I don’t know... .this rotisserie restoration mandated to “factory new condition”. 1953 Corvette was originally hand-made , requiring restoration experts to not “over-restore” or “under-restore” it.
Like my Ferraris, all cars in my collection, it was an open “check-book”....I wish I knew the cost.. but my best recommendation to anyone concerned about cost it to purchase an already restored vehicle... I’m glad to provide any info if you wish. My cell phone is (903)570-3793.

Yes. My 1953 corvette and 1959 Ferrari were both invited to Concours de Elegance, the event was canceled due to COVID-19. I was disappointed, because the 1959 Ferrari hasn’t been publicly publicly since the 1959 Frankfurt Motor Show. Ohhh well.......First World problems

So whats the deal with the points? I'm reading it as the car got 100 out of a possible 102? My corvettes are nice but i'll probably never have them judged to that level but I guess as an owner Im curious what the 2 points were that you didn't get?

Good question.... I’m not an expert, but here is what I know. When the car is judged at the AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) the car was awarded 100 points. Because the goal is to drive and enjoy cars, not just display cars, the car was driven to the show from over 200 miles away, and so the AACA awarded 2 additional points.
It was AACA First Place Junior, Senior, and Preservation. Likewise, it is TopFlight NCRS. I’m not an expert, so that’s all I know about that. When I sought a 1953...(knowing they were a relatively limited number) I asked an NCRS to find the best 1953 that was not in a museum, so that it could possibly be purchased. Needless to say, I payed more than it’s current asking price. It’s fine enough, that I’d offer it with a full money back, satisfaction guarantee. Lengthy answer to your simple question....and because this is a Ferrari site... it’s possible no one cares about Corvette. It’s not available through the Corvette site...I’m unsure if they have a site.
    Sincerely,
    Kevin

Thats a good story. I assumed the points were awarded by NCRS. There are many corvette enthusiasts here myself included. Beautiful car.
