What Red (Rosso) for your next Ferrari ?

Depends on the car.....GT or mid-engined sport...

 

You need to add an option for (I would pick a non-Rosso color)

 

There are about 15 more "Rosso" colors not listed………..
Rosso Nearco, Rosso Cordoba, to name but a few……….

You’re missing the F12 launch colour - Rosso Berlinetta.

The replies you’ve received above should confirm to you what I already mentioned about Rosso in your ‘buying an FF’ thread.

Kudos to you though for getting a straw poll on which of the two cars you’re looking at might be easier to resell (either Corsa or Mugello). But rather than waste people’s time with a poll, please just buy the car which you like the most. Ferraris are an emotional purchase, not a financial one. The decision between two shades of red is going to affect value far less than the decision between red and another colour.

given the choice between Corsa or Mugello on my FF, I’d take Mugello every time. Darker metallic colour beats lighter flat colour. Nothing screams ‘my first Ferrari’ quite like Rosso Corsa on a V12 in Europe. Our US friends have different taste so they’re forgiven ;-)

Aside from Maranello which I think is the best of them all, that list is missing all the best reds. Fuoco, 2007 F1, Berlinetta, Magma, Coburn, California, Monza, Bordeaux and TRS.

 

70 Anni is not there either. Lot's missing.

How does that compare to F1 2007? I thought Ferrari used Rosso Scuderia in 2004?

 

So if we plan a Rosso Berlinetta or Rosso Fuoco car it does not count?
Last I checked, Rosso Maranello was not part of the stock configurator set of reds.

If you want to do a list of the reds people in this part of the forum will be most likely t9 choose, I suppose that should be your main objective. For that reason, may I suggest that you replace Rosso Dino with Rosso Berlinetta, Rosso Fiorano with Rosso California and Rosso Scuderia with 70 Anni? Then your list will consist of many more colours the front engined V12 buyer will choose. I highly doubt we will see many Rosso Dino or Rosso Scuderia 812 or Lussos any time soon.

People simply mentioned other options because what they would choose is not on your list - not because it's their favourite red.

The Rosso F1 2004 is much brighter, more fluo than the Rosso Scuderia. It was only used on the F1 Cars. The Rosso Scuderia was a more of a "street legal" version of the real F1 color. I chosed this red for my currently build 488 GTE. The Rosso F1 2007 is darker and metallic than the F1 2004.

 

I have an 812 GTS on order and still deliberating on (probably in this order) Rosso California, Rosso Fouco, Rosso Marenello, Rosso Berlinetta, or Rosso Cobourn.....all within shades of each other, but thinking of leaning towards Rosso California....just love the depth of the colour, not easy when their is too much choice...!

I think Rosso Cali is probably the one that really sticks out actually. Quite a bit darker than the others. The others are much more clear and red. Maranello is my fave of those you mention.

If I'm not mistaken, I think I've seen Rosso Angelo and Rosso Adam flying around here

 

I am on Ferrari number four and have yet to own a red one, two Argento, one white and one Grigio Titanio.

 

Don’t suppose you have a pic of Argento next to Grigio Titanio? Trying to choose the colour of my GTS...

I have GT on my 812 and love it. But have seen some Argento coloured cars with a satin PPF (not matte, but gives it a sheen and looks like frozen silver...looks great I think). Can’t decide...!

 

No I don't have side by sides because I spec'd the 812 in GT but don't have it yet. When I get it, I will be able to put the colors side by side because the Port is Argento. Here is the Port and the Cali T HS in Argento.
