The C7 Z06 is supercharged. Here’s why the C8 Z06 will be naturally aspirated. https://gmauthority.com/blog/2020/01/heres-why-the-c8-corvette-z06-is-naturally-aspirated/?fbclid=IwAR089MT_lNlUvgrzNoJP46mey8gjv931_szHSdgvKcjpYkr3_wW_OE_DXGw .
And the c7 z06 was lardy, maybe 500lbs more than the c6 version, superchargers and supercharger coolling radiators makes weight, thats not any type of really serious track car, other than for a 3 lap magazine test. It will be inetrestign to see what the c8 versions weights, and also if a bolted on roof makes an apearance for stiffness. Could be interesting.

I just can't get excited about the 'new' yellow. Too much green in it for my tastes. There's one i see around here all the time (company car) and it's definitely NOT for me. And I've had 3 yellow Ferraris.
Agree. This should NOT have been the 'launch' yellow, should have been more like C7 Velocity Yellow (darker/richer) and maybe offer this down the road. BUT, I am looking forward to seeing it in person before making final judgement.
My C6 is Velocity yellow. Not a fan of the newer vette yellows and I drive a yellow vette. the shades are different.
They added a touch of blue to the yellow. If you do that to yellow it instantly turns some shade of green. Ferrari yellow is 1000 times better. Not sure why they just didn't go there.

Nah, it's not rain. To me that looks like the vette yellow from the 70s which was a bright yellow and I sorta liked. Still excited to see the damn car in person
