I'm selling my 355 black leather seats i got from my 97 gts that I recently put challenge seats in. They do not come with the rails as transferred them to the new seats. These are in great condition considering the age of the car and original leather. The pics show full blemishes due to high resolution but in person it actually looks better with no cracks just some wear on the bolsters.

Asking 1200 for the pair plus shipping. I rather sell to someone who can use them than put in the storage and not know when and if they would ever be used again. Yes the problem I'm encountering with getting shipping quotes is the dimensional weight of the boxed. I think pallet is the cheaper option and use a freight company instead.

The seats do come apart two small clipsh the upper and lower halves together. Then perhaps they could be boxed?

Thanks this would be great if you know how to do it. I am unable to separate them just by looking at the connection points. Do you know how it breaks apart? The diagram doesnt seem clear how it would separate

When I shipped seats last, I went and bought two of the largest boxes UPS/FEDEX freight stores provide, then, I loaded the seat into the first box, used packing padding, then fit the other one over the top, then secured with lots of tape. Fitted like the photo. May be worth a shot, plus, besides the weight, much cheaper than shipping a pallet.

I was told about that option when I was thinking about shipping my interior out for reupholstery. FedEx freight boxes. I believe they have a couple of sizes.
