This is one of the best looking bikes I have seen in a long time. I was born the same year. It is in better shape than me.

I follow a Facebook group about interesting and unusual motorcycles, would you mind be posting a picture of your Vincent?

Digression for a quick story: I once went to a British motorcycle festival in Deep East Texas. I'll never forget a guy riding by on his Vincent. You could count the spark plug fires. Plus, the carb intakes were scary. They made a huge sucking sound I'm sure has accounted for a number of lost small children.

    That is an awesome pic!
Looks like a 50cc Grand Prix bike. Gilera? Benelli? Bultaco??

I'll post the Vincent on that FB group as requested.
For any Vincent fans out there, in the last Vincent photo at Bonneville, that's Marty Dickerson on a Vincent Comet single helping to start the racer to its left on rollers. The racer was owned and piloted by John Ulver.

Came across this 93 888 for sale at Blue Moon in Georgia. No affiliation. Always wanted one. I think asking is too high at $15K.

Holy smokes! That Unusual, Interesting and Rare Motorcycle group on FB is on fire. I put the pics on and my email lit up with likes and comments. One guy was friends with the guy that raced it in the day and actually had it in his garage at one point. He was told "You can ride it if you can start it". He said he and his buddies almost had heart attacks trying to push start it, but could never get it started. I think it's pretty high compression so they started it on rollers in the day.

My first motor vehicle! Mine was a '68 DAX Export model my dad bought in Japan. You can tell by the turn signals, as they were street legal in many countries. He was a USAF pilot, and flew it home in a C-141. :)
